Use
In this Customizing activity, you define packages per process category, into which the system splits up the line items to be processed for one variant of that process category.
Assign a combination of company codes and MCA keys to a process category. This enables the system to split the set of selected line items by company code and account number. The system then processes each of these line item groups in a separate job. Depending on the work processes your system provides, the system executes these jobs at the same time in parallel.
The settings made in this Customizing activity and the use of the indicator No Parallelization on the following selection screens have an effect on the occurrence of lock conflicts:

· Monetary Asset Revaluation
· FX Restatement
· Adjustment of FX Position Account
· P&L Lock
· P&L Close
· P&L Transformation
· Adjustment of Implicit FX Transactions
If you have assigned the same MCA key using indirect processing (same offsetting account in account determination) to more than one package, an initial indicator may cause the system to set locks for the same accounts at the same time raising a lock conflict.
