Use

In this Customizing activity, you can define the mapping to MCA Position Types.

The data load program evaluates the account numbers provided in the line items. The program maps these account numbers to account numbers in the system.

There are three possible mapping types.

  1. Cross-Currency Clearing Account
    In this case, the account number is assumed to be the same as in the system. The system copies the account number into the line items of the target document.
  2. FX Position Account
    In this case, the value in the MCA Position Type field represents the MCA position type [POS]. The system then determines the relevant position account.
  3. Equivalent Value Account
    In this case, the values in the Currency and MCA Position Type fields represent the currency and MCA position type, which the system uses to determine the relevant equivalent account from the Customizing activity Maintain FX Position Accounts and Equivalent Accounts'.
