Case 1

You implement the Actual Costing/Material Ledger component from 4.0A:

  1. Archive the material ledger data, documents, and indexes that you no longer require.
  2. Execute the report EWUMMCHK_40 to determine the differences between the material stock accounts in Materials Management and Financial Accounting.

Case 2

You have set the Material Ledger as productive for Release 3.0 or 3.1:

  1. Archive the material ledger data, documents, and indexes that you no longer require.
  2. Execute report EWUMMCHK, in order to determine the differences between the material stock accounts in Materials Management and Financial Accounting.
  3. In the 4.0 system, prepare the materials for the Material Ledger before euro conversion (production startup).
