Material Costing
When converting material cost estimates to the euro, rounding differences can cause the total of the individual items to differ from the totals record, because these values are converted separately. This applies also to the costed multilevel BOM, the itemization/cost element itemization comparison, and the cost component split. Furthermore, differences can occur between the prices of materials with S price control and the standard prices in the standard cost estimates of those materials.
To remove rounding differences, create the most important standard cost estimates and costing runs again after conversion to the euro.
Unit Costing
When converting unit cost estimates to the euro, rounding differences can cause the total of the individual items to differ from the totals record, because these values are converted separately.
These rounding differences can apply to all item categories. If you then choose the function Revaluate, all items will be revaluated with the converted prices.
