Use

Implementing this BAdI enables you to enhance the standard Logbook Equipment screen in Logbook. The reason for providing this BAdI is to enable you to maintain additional Equipment Logbook data in Logbook.

After implementing the BAdI, you will be able to create Equipment Logbook containing your additional information.

Activities

Follow the following steps:

  1. Create your specific Equipment Logbook subscreen, enabling you to maintain your specific Equipment Logbook data.
  2. Create your own implementation of BAdI EQL_SUBSCR_ACL:

    In the Subscreens tab strip, for subscreen area CUST_SUBSCR_AREA link your own subscreen area (created in step 1) that will enable maintaining your specific Equipment Logbook data in the subscreen area.

  3. After you call the IMG activity, the system displays a dialog box where you enter a name for the implementation.

    If implementations of this Business Add-In have already been created, the system displays them in a dialog box. You then choose one of them by choosing Create, and continue as follows:

    1. In the dialog box, enter a name for the implementation of the BAdI and choose Create.
      2. The system displays the initial screen for creating BAdI implementations.
    2. On this screen, enter a short description for your implementation in the Implementation Short Text field.
    3. If you choose the Interface tab, you will notice that the system populates the Name of the Implementing Class field automatically, by assigning a class name based on the name of your implementation.
    4. Save your entries and assign the BAdI to a package.
    5. To edit a method, double-click its name.
      6. Enter your implementation code between the method <Interface Name>~<Name of Method>. and endmethod. statements.
    6. Save and activate your code. Navigate back to the Change Implementation screen.
      7. Note: You can also create an implementation for a BAdI and not activate it until later. If you want to do this, do not perform the following step:
    7. Choose Activate.
      8. The code you created is run through, when the application program is executed
