Use

In this IMG activity you adapt the initial screens for searching for specifications of the various specification categories to suit your requirements. For each specification category you can specify the following:

  • You can specify a subscreen with search fields. This subscreen replaces the whole screen area above the extended search functions on the standard screen for searching for specifications of one specification category. When you define the subscreen, note the following:
    • The subscreen can contain only search fields that are included on the subscreens supplied in the standard system or that are included in the extended search functions.
    • With the function module that passes the data from the subscreen, you must ensure that the values from the subscreen are passed to the corresponding fields in the extended search functions.
  • You can specify function modules for the following cases:
    • A function module that initializes the program
    • A function module that fills the subscreen with data
    • A function module that passes the data from the subscreen to the search modules
  • You can specify a framework program that contains the subscreen and the function modules.

Requirements

You have created the function modules, subscreens, and framework program.

Standard settings

Default settings are shipped. Use these default subscreens, function modules, and programs as copy templates for your own subscreens, function modules, and programs.
