Use
In the workbench you can use layouts to specify which dependencies are to be displayed for the objects in the workbench. In this IMG activity you define these layouts.
Notes:
- You can call the layouts you have defined for a service group, that is for a workbench, in the navigation area of the workbench using the context menu.
- Layouts are supported only for the recipe workbench of the SAP component Recipe Management (PLM-RM).
- Layouts are supported for recipes and formulas only.
Requirements
Under Set Up Workbench you have created the service groups for which you want to specify the layouts.
Standard settings
Default settings are shipped.
Activities
- Select the service group for which you want to specify the layouts.
- Under Structure Layouts create the required layouts and set the following indicators if necessary:
- Set the Act. (Active) indicator for all layouts that are to be taken into account in the workbench.
- Set the Outline indicator for the layout you want to use as the outline layout, and enter a subordinate structure layout for the outline layout if required.
- Under Layout Definition, specify the arrangement of the individual object types in the layout as follows:
- As the parent object type specify the object types that are to appear as the higher-level nodes in the layout.
- For each parent object type specify as child object types the object types that are to appear below the parent object type in the hierarchy.
- Define the order of the child object types that have the same parent by assigning sequence numbers.
Example
- You want to display the recipes under the recipe information system. Under each recipe you want to display the material, the substance, and the stages for the recipe. Proceed as follows to set up these requirements:
- Define the recipe information system as the parent object type.
- In this entry for the recipe information system, define the recipe as the child object type.
- In three other entries define the recipe as the parent object type.
- In these entries for the recipe define the material, the substance, and the stage as the child object types.
- Define the order of these child object types by assigning sequence numbers.
- Different formulas can be related to one another. These dependencies are visualized using graphic formula display. To make this formula explosion possible, the layout FRML_HIER (formula hierarchy) is set up for the service group RMS. In its layout definition, the parent object type INFO has the child object type FRM specified. The selected edge categories are specified using the method IF_RMWB_WBO~GET_WBO_CONFIG_CL.
