Use

In this IMG activity, you define the data carrier type Archive for ArchiveLink. Then for this data carrier type, you enter as the logical archive the content server that you created in the IMG activity Specify Content Servers.

Activities

  1. Call the IMG activity.
  2. Define the data carrier type Archive as follows:
    1. To specify the details for a new data carrier type, choose Define data carrier type "archive" by double-clicking this navigation step.
    2. Choose New Entries.
    3. Enter the following data:
      4. Under Type (data carr. type for archv) enter a two-digit name for your data carrier type, for example, AR.
      Under Description enter a description for the data carrier type.
      Set the Online indicator.
      The Archv. indicator is set automatically.
    4. Save your entries.
  3. Define the archive as follows:
    1. Position the cursor on the newly defined data carrier type and choose Define archives by double-clicking this navigation step.
    2. Choose New Entries.
    3. Enter the following data:
      4. Under DataCar. enter the two-digit name of the external content server that you defined in the IMG activity Specify Content Servers.
      Under Type (data carr. type for archv) the data carrier type is entered for which you called the function Define archives.
      Under Description enter a description for the archive.
    4. Save your entries.
