Use
In this IMG activity you specify the start condition that must be met in order for the workflow in the SAP component Environment, Health and Safety to start.
A start condition consists of the following:
- List of Start Events
You can enter the the following objects in the list:
- Value assignment types
- Table ESTRH (administration data for specification header)
- Table ESTRI (identifiers)
- Table ESTMJ (specification-material assignment)
- Table ESTRR (reference assignment)
In order for workflow to be started for a specification, at least one change must have been made on one of the objects since the last start.
- List of Value Assignment Types
- In order for workflow to be started for a specification, all the value assignment types on the list must have been assigned values. In this way, the situation is avoided where a workflow structure is started for a specification although its data has not been completely maintained.
- As an additional condition, you can define that at least one of these value assignment types must have been changed since the last start.
- User Exit (see Check User Exit and Environment Parameters)
You can use user exit SUB_WFCHCK to define further checks for the specifications as the start condition.
Example
Start condition TEST: The entire start condition must be fulfilled in order for the workflow to be started:
- List of start events: ESTRI (Identifiers), SAP_EHS_1013_001 (Aggregate state), SAP_EHS_1013_005 (Density)
A specification is transferred to the workflow structure if, for example, one of the following changes has been made to the specification:
- The text for its identifier was changed (within the first 132 characters or in the long text).
- The assignment to regulatory lists for one of its identifiers was changed.
- A new value assignment instance was created for the property Aggregate state.
- The assessment for an value assignment instance for the property Aggregate state was changed.
- A user-defined text for a value assignment instance for the property Density was changed.
- List of value assignment types: Color, Form, pH, Density
The value assignment types Color, Form, pH and Density must have been assigned values. In addition, you have set the indicator Change in values in value assignment type required so that a change must have been made since the last start for at least one of these value assignment types.
- User exit: TEST_FUNCTION
If you have defined other specification checks, these must also have been executed.
Standard settings
Workflow step 4 is created for the workflow template EHS_DEMO (WS11200006). The standard task TS11200005 is assigned to step 4. The standard task contains the method SUBSTANCE.VALUATIONDIALOGCALLFROMWF.
Recommendation
You can use the workflow template EHS_DEMO as a template.
