Use
In specification management in the SAP Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) component, you can rate hazardous substance data, that is you can specify for a value assignment instance, for example, whether its data is fully released or only released for internal use.
In this IMG activity, you specify the priorities for these ratings for the filling of the hazardous substance master. This means you specify which value assignment instance the system is to use for filling if a value assignment type contains several value assignment instances with different ratings. The system uses the instance with the rating to which you assigned the lowest priority number in this IMG activity. When you create an entry for a rating in which you do not specify a priority, the system uses the priority 0, which means that this rating has priority over all other ratings during filling. If you do not create an entry for a rating in this IMG activity, the system does not take into account value assignment instances with this rating when filling.

You create the following entries in this IMG activity:

A value assignment type contains a value assignment instance with the rating PUBLIC and one with the rating OFFICIAL. The system uses the data from the value assignment instance with the rating PUBLIC for filling. A second value assignment type contains only one value assignment instance with the rating OFFICIAL. The system uses this instance in filling because there is no value assignment instance with a lower priority. A third value assignment type contains only one value assignment instance with the rating INTERNAL. The system ignores this instance in filling and thus the data for this value assignment type.
