Use
In this Customizing activity, you can set up the job RC1_ES_CPOINTER_EXTRACT as event-controlled.
The job starts a report when a specification was created, changed, or deleted, and gives the change pointer to the embedded search. After the start of indexing, the data can be found via the embedded search.

Standard settings
Activities
- Call the SAP system for the client you require and from the menu, choose System -> Services -> Jobs -> Define Job.
- Enter a job name and choose the job class.
- Choose Edit -> Start Date and choose the function After Event in the following dialog box.
- In the field Event, enter the key SAP_START_EHS_ES_BUS1077 and set the indicator Execute Job Periodically.
- Choose Check and save.
- Choose Edit -> Steps. The Create Step 1 dialog box appears.
- Choose ABAP program.
- For the name of the ABAP program, enter RC1_ES_CPOINTER_EXTRACT.
- Choose Check and save. The step list appears.
- Go back and then save.
