In this IMG activity you specify the selection criteria according to which bills of material are transferred to the worklist and bill of material items to the compositions of the Product Safety component.
You use the following fields to define the selection criteria:
- Selection category
- Selection object
- Field names
To define selection criteria, use transaction SE11 to call the structure that is assigned to the respective combination of selection category and selection object, and choose the field from the structure for which you want to define selection criteria.
The following table lists the structures that are assigned to the possible combinations:

You define the actual selection values for the fields using the following fields:
- Include/Exclude Criterion
- Selection Option
- Lower Limit
- Upper Limit
You can assign the same field more than once to a combination made up of a selection category and a selection object. The defined condition is then made up of the set of single conditions taking into account the include/exclude criterion. The SAP system reads the data records in the sequence that you specify using the sort sequence.
Note:
The SAP system ensures that the combination of selection category and sort sequence is unique.

All materials are selected whose material numbers start with "B".
Activities
- Call the IMG activity.
- Specify the selection criteria you require.
Note:
If you do not specify any selection criteria, all material BOMs created in the system are transferred to the worklist.
- Save your entries.
