In this IMG activity, you define the screen layout for condition lists for the Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) mapping. You can use the condition lists to display or analyze condition records according to various criteria. Technically, condition lists are ABAP/4 programs.

Activities

Check if you can use the condition lists that are available in the standard system. If not, then create a new condition list as described below.

  1. Enter the following details for the new condition lists:
    • Title
    • Two character description

The system displays all key fields that are used in conditions in the alphabetic order.

  2. Select all key fields that you want to use in the condition list.
  3. Choose one of the following, as required:
    • To evaluate all condition tables that contain at least one of the selected key fields, choose OR.
    • To evaluate only those condition tables that contain all the selected key fields, choose AND.
  4. In the next dialog box, select all condition tables that must be analyzed.
  5. To define the screen layout of the condition list, select the required value for the fields Positioning and Text, for all key fields.

    The system generates the program.

  6. Choose Save.

Note

You can later display the list and perform the following actions, as required:

  • Remove a field that you do not want to include in the selection criteria by deselecting the corresponding Selection checkbox.
  • Indicate a field as mandatory. To do this, select the corresponding Required input checkbox.
