Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Data Replication Framework (CA-MDG-DRF) component.
You use this BAdI during the inbound processing of Application Link Enabling (ALE) audit messages to complete the following tasks:
- Map the ALE object type from an iDOC to a object identifier type defined in the key mapping of a target system
- Convert the external format of an ALE object ID to an internal format for a an MDG object ID
You must implement this BAdI f you want apply the Update Key Mapping setting in Customizing for Data Replication under Define Custom Settings for Data Replication -> Define Technical Settings for Business Systems.
