Use

You can select the fields to be displayed in the DRB overview.

Requirements

You can only select the fields to be displayed if the DRB is displayed in the control. The setting is in the activity Display of the Link Tree.

Standard settings

If you do not make any further settings, only the object type and the description (the prepared key) are displayed in the overview.

Activities

Start any transaction with which you can access the DRB overview. If there is no data in the current system with which you can access the DRB, use the action that belongs to this activity. This means that the DRB is started with an artificial object, which enables you to change the layout, but does not give you a useful document display.
In the overview, in the toolbar for the link tree you can see the different functions for selecting, changing, saving, and managing the layout.
You can save the layouts either user-specific or for all users.

In your own layout, you should particularly include the Origin (Description) and Name of Logical System fields.

  • The Origin (Description) field indicates whether an object is in the database or the data archive. This field is therefore particularly useful if you use data archiving.
  • You need the Name of Logical System field if you use the DRB in a distributed system landscape and you want to see the home system of the object in question.

Via Manage Layout, you can select a specific layout as the default setting.
Via Layout -> Transport, you can transport cross-user layouts.
