Use

With the Business Add-In (BAdI) DOCUMENT_OBJ, you can integrate your own objects in the document management transactions (CV01N, CV02N, CV03N, CV04N) without having to make any modifications.

Standard settings

Three implementations for the definition DOCUMENT_OBJ are shipped in Recipe Management:

IMPL_DOC_RCP    (Document link for recipes)

IMPL_DOC_ RMSEQR    (Document link for equipment requirements)

IMPL_DOC_RMSPOB    (Document link for process objects)

The BAdI implementations are required in Document Management for the where-used list of the current document. A tab page containing the corresponding objects is displayed for each implementation. If the document was linked to a dependent object, the name of the recipe or building block to which the dependent object belongs is displayed together with the entire hierarchy, that is, the key of the stage, operation, action, and equipment requirement of the dependent object.

The BAdI implementations for equipment requirements and process objects are active on delivery. In other words, if the current document is used by an equipment requirement, the tab page is visible on the Object Links tab page.

The BAdI implementation for recipes is not active on delivery, since an equivalent BAdI implementation already exists for this document type (IMPL_IPPE_DOC_POSVID).
Important: If you want to activate the new BAdI implementation (IMPL_DOC_RCP), first deactivate the BAdI implementation shipped with the standard system. Use the BAdI Builder (SE19) to do so.

Activities

You have to complete the following activities in Customizing for Document Management:

  • Maintain Screen for Object Link

Enter screen number 500 as the subscreen container.
In this case, the application program in the SAP system copies the flow logic for subscreen container 1500.

  • Maintain Key Fields

Enter the object. Further settings (for example, the transaction code) are not required.

  • Define Object Link for Document Type

Enter an object link for the document type that you want to link to the new SAP object.
You can configure these settings under Control Data, Define Document Types, Maintain Object Link Descriptions and Define Object Links.
