With this activity you can define document areas.

You can specify the following for each document area:

  • Display destination

    Specification of the system from which documents for display are called.

    This specification is important for info objects of the SAP Knowledge Warehouse (see also the implementation guidelines for installing the SAP Knowledge Warehouse).

  • Maintenance destination

    Specification of the system in which documents are edited.

    This specification is importnat for info objects of the SAP Knowledge Warehouse (see also the implementation guide for installing the SAP Knowledge Warehouse).

  • Web server

    Specification of the name including the port of the connected SAP Knowledge Provider Web Server.

  • Function values

    Function module for supporting the value help for fields on the web pages.

  • PostSearch

    Exit function for the search

  • Indexkomp

    Function module for the search

  • AttributeValue

    Function module

  • Other fields such as the creator and the time of creation are filled with suitable values by the system.

  1. Perform the action.
  2. You now have the following options:
    • You can go to the detail display.
    • You can change existing entries.
    • You can add new entries.
    • You can copy and change existing entries.
    • You can delete existing entries.
    • You can revoke your changes.

      Choose the corresponding symbol to execute the desired action.

  3. Save your entries.
