Use

In this step you set the serial number profile to activate the serial number functionality for process orders

Activities

To setup the serial number profile:

  1. Select an existing serial number profile or create a new serial number profile.
  2. Select the Serializing procedures sub-folder on the tree on left hand side. Maintain the following new entries:
    1. PIAU: This procedure enables you to use serial numbers in process orders.
    2. Serialization Procedure (Procd): PIAU
    3. Procedure Description: Enter description
    4. Serial Number Usage (SerUsage): Enter Serial number usage
    5. Equipment Requirement (EqR..): Enter equipment requirement

  1. PIRL: This procedure enables you to assign serial numbers when process orders are released.
  2. Serialization Procedure (Procd): PIAU
  3. Procedure Description: Enter description
  4. Serial Number Usage (SerUsage): Enter Serial number usage
  5. Equipment Requirement (EqR..): Enter equipment requirement
