Use

In this activity, you define directory sets for storing the physical files that you use in setting up data views.

Requirements

You have created the physical directories used here in the file system of the given operating system, and you released them for use by the SAP system.

To allow each application server to access the same central directory, it is useful to set up a directory on a central server and release the directory.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. In the Directory Set column, enter the name of the directory set.
  2. In the Description column, enter the description of the directory set. The description should communicate the purpose of the directory set.
  3. In the Directory column, enter the physical path (such as, \\myserver\mydata\ or /myserver/mydata/) where you want to store the files that are created when data views are created.
