Use

In this activity you create a new application and combine several elements of an Application Set with each other. Only elements from one application set can be used for one application. Several applications can be assigned to the same application set.

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter the data. The most important fields are as follows:

    Technical name of application.

Description
Description that is used to identify the application in the People-Centric UI, and to display it there.
Application Set
Application set to which this application should be assigned.
Responsible
Developer responsible for the application. In applications delivered by SAP the responsible field is filled with SAP.
Favorites Folder
Specify a special name for storing favorites in GOS if you intend to use favorites. See also Assignment of Object Type to Application.
Predefined query
You have made a predefined query generally available under Define Standard Queries
Enter the predefined query that you want to appear in first place in the favorites list in the People-Centric UI.
Package Development package in which the new application was created.
Authorization transaction
Enter the transaction that is to be executed during an authorization check.
Limit value search
Specify how many query results should be displayed on the PC UI.
