Use
This activity (Customizing tool) allows you to make most of the settings you require for your People-Centric User Interface (PC UI) on one interface. The Customizing tool completely replaces the Blueprint Application Builder.
The activity offers you two modes:
Application elements: You create individual interface elements
Applications: You combine the previously created application elements in one application and view.
Static and dynamic model: Represent the blueprint table from different perspectives.
Features
Application:
By preselecting an application and a view you can display all of the interface elements of this view. It is also possible to display an application with all views. You can assign the interface elements created under application element to the applications and views here.
Application Elements:
All existing application elements are listed. This is the area in which you can create more elements. You can create, copy, and change the following application elements:
- Field group
- Toolbar
- Tab page groups
Static Model:
Represents the modules according to which the application is assembled. Every module contains the interface elements. This means you can work on the individual modules of the application you have chosen.
- Search mask and results list are examples of modules.
- Field group and tab pages are examples of interface elements.
Field groups: All of the field groups of an application are gathered together in the Customizing tool. You can navigate to them using the preselection and the visible modules. When you double-click on a field group, the corresponding information is displayed in the window to the left.
Dynamic Model:
Refelects the application from the event-triggering perspective. The application interacts with the user via the events. If a navigation event is triggered, one or more modules are updated. You can choose an event and link it to the interface structure.
You can display your changes straight away in the preview window. To do so, choose Preview (Cntr + Shift + F2).
Note:
You can define the application elements in the corresponding IMG node Define Layout of User Interface (People-Centric UI).
