Note

You can only define each field once.

Requirements

  • You must carry out the IMG activity Define Correspondence Type.
  • The custom text fields must be defined in the ABAP Dictionary.

Standard settings

Activities

The Customizing table contains the fields, values and attributes for the layout of the dialog box in the application.

Make an entry in this table for each available field in the dialog box:

  1. Enter the sequence in which the fields should appear in the dialog box in the sequence number field.
  2. Enter the name of the table that contains the field you require.
  3. Enter the name of the field.
  4. In the required field, determine whether or not the user must make an entry in the dialog box.
  5. If you do not want to use the field label from the ABAP Dictionary, enter the text you require under medium field label.
  6. Determine whether or not the system displays a possible entries pushbutton for the field.
  7. Save your entries.
