Use
In this IMG activity, you define the RFC destination of the SAP ODA Connector that you have installed on the target host.
Requirements
To successfully set up the RFC destination, we recommend to first install the SAP ODA Connector on the target host.
Standard settings
Activities
Make the following settings:
Connection type: T (TC/IP connections)
Activation Type: Registered Server Program
Registered Server Program: Enter any program ID. However, it must be the same program ID that you have used when installing the SAP ODA Connector.
Gateway Options: The gateway host and gateway service must be the same as the entries that you used when installing the SAP ODA Connector.
Example
Below, you find an example of what the settings for the RFC destination definition in the SAP system and the for the SAP ODA Connector installation may look like.
When defining the RFC destination in the SAP system:
RFC destination MY_ODA
Connection type T (TCP/IP connections)
Program ID MYODA
Gateway host us0308
Gateway service sapgw85
When installing the SAP ODA Connector:
Destination MY_ODA
SAP gateway host name us0308
SAP gateway service name sapgw85
Program ID MYODA
