Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Production Orders (PP-SFC) component to:

  • Enhance Material tab of the manufacturing dashboard application.
  • Add new selection criteria in method GET_OBJECTS of feeder class CL_RMAN_PRSP_MD_FEEDER_OPER using method SET_SELCRIT_VALUES of interface IF_EX_COCF_MANDASH_MATTAB.
  • Enhance the functionality of DataSource 0PP_MD_MATERIAL by adding new fields to structure COCF_MD_S_MATERIAL.

Requirements

Standard settings

  • In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation.
  • The BAdI is filter-dependent.
  • The BAdI is designed for multiple uses.

Activities

To enhance/modify the existing output of the DataSources, do the following:

  1. Append new custom-defined fields to the extract structure COCF_MD_S_MATERIAL.
  2. Change the data source 0PP_MD_MATERIAL.
  3. Specify the new custom fields as input (X) or display fields (blank).
  4. Save the DataSource.
  5. Create an Enhancement implementation of the Business Add-In.
  6. Implement the methods GET_MATERIAL_DETAILS and SET_SELCRIT_VALUES.
  7. Add your business logic in method SET_SELCRIT_VALUES if you need to enhance the selection criteria functionality of feeder class CL_RMAN_PRSP_MD_FEEDER_OPER.
  8. Add your business logic in method GET_MATERIAL_DETAILS to fill customer fields in the extract structure COCF_MD_S_MATERIAL.
