Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Production Orders (PP-SFC) component to enhance:

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPI) tab of the manufacturing dashboard application.
  • DataSource 0PP_MD_KPI functionality by adding new fields to structure COCF_MD_S_KPI.

Requirements

Standard settings

  • In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation.
  • The BAdI is filter-dependent.
  • The BAdI is designed for multiple uses.

Activities

To enhance the functionality of the DataSource 0PP_MD_KPI, do the following:

  1. Append new custom-defined fields to extract structure COCF_MD_S_KPI.
  2. Change the DataSource 0PP_MD_KPI.
  3. Specify the new custom fields as input (X) or display fields (blank).
  4. Save the DataSource.
  5. Create an Enhancement implementation of the Business Add-In.
  6. Implement method GET_KPI.
  7. Add your business logic in the method GET_KPI to fill customer fields in the extract structure COCF_MD_S_KPI.
