Document
Document Class | SIMG | Hypertext: Object Class - Class to which a document belongs. |
Document Name | COCF_EINFACHSIGN |
Use
If only an individual signature - not a signature strategy - is necessary to sign off a document, you specify the signature method and further options in this section. This signature method then applies to all processors of the application to whom you have not assigned a signature strategy.
If you do not use a signature strategy for the shift report, you must create the entry SRPDFDOC in this IMG activity.
Recommendation
If you use the user signature with an external security product, you always work with verification in the production system. In the case of signatures without verification, the validity of the user certificate is not checked. This signature method should therefore be used for test purposes only.

Activities
Carry out the following worksteps:
- Choose New Entries.
- Enter SRPDFDOC as the signature object.
- Specify the signature method (e.g. System Signature with Authorization by SAP User ID/Password.
- Define the necessity, possibility, or prohibition of comment, remark, verification, and display of the document. Note that these settings are overridden if the "prohibited" option is specified for these points in the system table for the application itself.
Enter comment
You stipulate whether the user is to be able to enter a text comment when signing the application. The options prohibited (no comment field is offered), possible (comment field can be invoked), and required (signature not possible unless a comment has been entered) are available.
For the shift report, you use the setting possible.
Enter remark
You enable the user to choose a remark from a predefined list and append it to the signature. It depends on the application in question whether a remark exists. The options prohibited, possible and required are available.
For the shift report, you use the setting prohibited .
Display document
You specify whether the document to be signed is also to be displayed to the signer. The options prohibited, possible and required are available.
For the shift report, you use the setting possible.
Perform verification
You enable verification for previously executed signatures. In the process, a check is carried out in the background as to whether the present document is still identical with the original document and whether the previously executed signatures have been stored in the system correctly.
For the shift report, you set the Verification indicator.
