Use

In this workstep, you define a background job for sending control recipes within your client. For this purpose, you must make the following settings:

  • Initial screen
    • Any job name
    • Job class A or B
    • Where appropriate, target host on which the job is to be executed
  • Start date/time of job

    Choose one of the following options:

    • The job is to be started whenever a new control recipe is generated within your client:
      • After event SAP_NEW_CONTROL_RECIPES
      Event parameter <client>
      Execute job periodically
    • The job is to be executed periodically at certain time intervals: Option Date/Time, whereby you define the time interval as a period value
  • Steps to be executed
    • The job should start the ABAP/4 program RCOCB006.

Recommendation

If the event occurs frequently at short intervals, for performance reasons, the job should be started on a time-dependent basis (start according to "date/time").
