You can also edit filters during assignment in the IMG activity Define and Set Up Control Recipe Destinations. Note, however, that filter definitions are independent of the destination and process instruction category. Changes that you make apply to all instances where the filter is used and not only to the destination from which you jumped to filter maintenance.
Notes on BC Sets and Transport
Filters are program variants and workbench objects. They can neither be included in a Customizing transport nor in BC sets. To transport a filter to another client or system, you must manually include it in a workbench request (see below).

Activities
Enter program RCOCRPVG, select the Variants subobject, and choose Change.
To create a new filter, proceed as follows:
Enter a variant name and choose Create.
Enter the criteria according to which you want to select the objects for which process instructions are to be generated.
Note that selection criteria at component level only take effect together with the scopes of generation 01 (For all reservation items), 02 (For all order items), and 03 (For all reservations and order items). They only apply to order items if you use co-product manufacture so that the order items are also available as the components of the bill of material (BOM).
To include filters in a transport request, proceed as follows:
On the initial screen of variant maintenance, choose Utilities -> Transport Request.
Enter program name RCOCRPVG and choose Execute.
Select the filters or variants that you want to transport and choose Continue.
Enter the number of the transport request and choose Continue.
