In this IMG activity, you include long texts of process instruction categories in a transport request.
You may have entered long texts for the text characteristics of your process instruction categories in the preceding sections. When you include your process instruction categories in a Customizing transport, the relevant long texts are also included in the transport request. However, the long texts cannot be included in a BC set. If you want to use BC sets to transport your process instructions to another client or system, you must manually include the long texts in a workbench request (see below).

Activities
Enter program RSTXTRAN and choose Execute.
Enter a task of a workbench request with which you want to transport the long text and specify the text key. A list of all texts selected appears.
Note: To obtain the text key during text editing, choose Goto -> Header in the editor. The text object (INST_CAT) and text ID (0001) is the same for the long texts of all process instruction categories. The text name is structured as follows:
If you specify a generic characteristic name, you can include the long texts of several characteristics in the same transport request. The entry 0001FTTEST*, for example, would transport all characteristic long texts for process instruction category TEST from plant 0001.
Select the texts that you want to transport and choose Continue.
Choose Trsfr texts to corr. (Transfer texts to correction) and confirm the command.
