(Decentralized Process Management)
Use
To get an overview of the overall scenario of decentralized process management, we recommend reading the release note Introduction to Decentralized Process Management first.
In this IMG activity, you define the RFC destination for the SAP system to which you want to send control recipes and process messages within decentralized process management. How you define the RFC destination depends on whether the SAP system (the one you are logged on to at the moment) is used as a central or decentralized system.
If the current system is used as the central system, you must define the RFC destination of the SAP system that serves as the decentralized system.
If the current system is used as a decentralized system, you must define the RFC destination of the SAP system that serves as the central system.

Settings in the Central SAP System
- Enter a name for the RFC destination of the decentralized SAP system. You must enter the name in capital letters.
- Choose connection type 3 (for ABAP system).
- Enter a description.
- Enter the technical data of the decentralized SAP system.
Depending on whether you choose Yes or No for Load Distribution, you must enter data in the corresponding fields. First, choose Enter.
- Save your entries.
