In this menu item you define the screen structure for pricing reports. Using pricing reports, you can evaluate condition records according to different criteria. Technically, pricing reports represent ABAP/4 programs.
Activities
Create pricing report
To create new pricing reports, proceed as follows:
- Enter a short name and a title for the pricing report that you want to create.
- Choose Selected Fields.
You will be taken to a data screen that contains all key fields used in the area of conditions.
- Select all the key fields that you want to take into account in your pricing report.
- If you choose AND, all condition tables that contain at least one of the selected key fields will be evaluated. If you choose OR, only condition tables that contain all the selected fields will be selected.
A list of condition tables appears.
- Select all condition tables that you want to have evaluated.
- Choose Continue to List Structure to determine the screen structure of the pricing report
You will be taken to a screen that contains all key fields from the selected tables.
- When you display the list at a later stage, you can hide fields that you do not want to use as selection criteria by removing the marking in the column Selection.
You can also mark fields on the selection screen as required entry fields.
- Save your entries.
Execute pricing report
To run an existing pricing report, proceed as follows:
- Choose Pricing Report-> Execute.
- Enter the required pricing report or select it using input help.
- Choose Execute.
You will be taken to the selection screen of the pricing report.
The different areas of the screen show how the list is structured. The fields in the areas Page header, Group header and Items indicate where the fields in the pricing report are located. An arrow in the bottom right hand area of the screen indicates that additional fields that cannot be displayed on the current screen will also be taken into consideration in the pricing report.
- Limit the evaluation by entering selection criteria.
- Choose Execute
The pricing report is displayed
