In this IMG activity you assign the determination procedure to the operations, by determining the following dependencies:
- To the customer
- To the sales document type
- To the sales area
In the determination procedure, you define which condition types are to be taken into account and in which order. In campaign determination, the SAP system automatically determines which determination procedure is valid for a business transaction and considers the condition types it contains in sequence.
The determination of the procedure depends on the following factors:
- Customer pricing procedure
You specify the customer pricing procedure in the customer master record for each sales area.
- Document pricing procedure
You enter the document pricing procedure for every sales document type and for every billing type.
To determine the procedure, assign a determination procedure within a sales area for a customer pricing procedure and for a document pricing procedure.
If you do not enter an assignment for the document type you use, campaign determination will not take place.
Note: In this IMG activity, you can also determine whether you want to assign multiple campaigns/trade promotions to an order item. Depending on the systems you use, the following following values are available:
- 'Blank character' (not active)
The assignment of multiple campaigns/trade promotions is not supported. A maximum of one campaign/trade promotion is determined. - 'A' (compatible with CRM (sorting by access sequence))
The assignment of multiple campaigns/trade promotions is supported. The campaigns/trade promotions that are determined are sorted according to the access sequence, which is only compatible with CRM Enterprise. - 'B' (compatible with CRM and CRM Mobile (simple sorting))
The assignment of multiple campaigns/trade promotions is supported. Manually assigned and automatically determined campaigns/trade promotions are sorted using a simple sort method, which is compatible with both CRM Enterprise and CRM Mobile. A simple sorting method is needed because determination in CRM Mobile is not based on the condition technique.
