Use

In this Customizing activity, you can define control parameters at company code level in order to determine values that are relevant for mark-to-market (MtM).

This information includes the following:

  • The statistics currency (if it is different to the company code currency)
  • An evaluation type that is used for discounting
  • An exchange rate type that is to be used to convert document currencies to the statistics currency.

Note: An evaluation type for discounting can only be specified if SAP Treasury & Risk Management is installed and configured. If the evaluation type is specified, the assigned 'middle rate' is copied as the exchange rate type for logistics documents. For paper instruments, a deviating bid or ask rate may be applied depending on the value of the instrument.

Requirements

You must set up the evaluation type in SAP Treasury & Risk Management, which you can do during the Market Risk Analyzer configuration process.
