Use
This Business Add-In controls the automatic receiver search for the distribution of material consumption differences (inventory differences) to consuming production orders in the Actual Costing/Material Ledger component.
Requirements
You have activated the distribution of consumption differences.
Standard settings
In the standard System, receivers are determined using the movement types for the goods movements that used the material for which the inventory differences were posted. To do this, the System looks for material documents with the material number, plant, storage location, stock type, batch, and movement type listed in the inventory document.
Activities
By creating rules in the BAdI Implementation you can set certain parameters as not being relevant, or replace the proposed contents with other data.
Example
- An inventory difference is calculated for material A in storage location1. However no withdrawals of the material were made from storage location 1 for production. The withdrawals took place, after a stock transfer, from storage location 2. You can take this into account by replacing the parameter storage location 1 with the parameter storage location 2. The system then searches for the receiving production orders are then determined by searching for production orders that have made withdrawals of material A from storage location 2.
- An inventory difference was determined for stock in quality inspection. However, you want to determine all receivers, and not just those receivers that withdrew stock directly from the quality inspection. The search should, therefore, take place ignoring the stock type. To do this, you can reset the indicator Stock type relevant in the BAdI Implementation.
