Use

In this IMG activity, you define the parameters for the Calculation of the Periodic Receipt Values and the Calculation of FIFO Prices:

  • Which key figure scheme for aggregating the periodic receipt values is used
  • Whether exchange rate differences or multi-level differences are included in the calculation in the periodic receipt values.
  • Whether for valuated sales order stocks or valuated project stock, the periodic receipt values and FIFO prices are calculated
  • Which threshold values and which alternative prices are used for the error-tolerant calculation of the FIFO price.
  • For which currencies the periodic receipt values and FIFO prices are calculated
  • Under which valuation alternatives the FIFO prices are stored

Requirements

If you want to use the delivered key figure scheme standard calculation schema (01), then you first have to create a separate one under Define Key Figure Scheme, which you can assign to the FIFO variant.

If you do not want to use the delivered Valuation Alternatives FIFO price from material ledger (FIF) , then you have to first set up a separate one under Set Up Valuation Alternatives that you can assign to the FIFO variant.

Standard settings

In the standard system, the FIFO variant SAP standard variant (0001) is delivered which you can use without making changes.

Activities

You can choose up to three different currency types or valuation views in the fields CurrType/Valuation.
