Use
In this Customizing activity, you can assign scales that you defined in the Customizing activity Define Scale Control to scale groups that you defined in the Customizing activity Define Scale Groups. If a user enters parameter CFB_SCALE_GROUP_PAR with the relevant scale group as the parameter value in their user profile, they can then select the scales assigned to their scale group from the input help for scales.
Requirements
You have carried out the Customizing activities Define Scale Control and Define Scale Groups.
Standard settings
Activities
Create a new entry and assign the scale ID to the scale group key.
Example
You have a group of scales at location X and another group at location Y. The users at each location only work with the scales at their location.
You have created scales with scale IDs W1 to W4 and have defined the following scale groups:
Scale Group Scale Group Name
Group 1 Scales for Location X
Group 2 Scales for Location Y
You have assigned the scales as follows:
Scale Group Scale ID
Group 1 W1
Group 1 W2
Group 2 W3
Group 2 W4
For parameter CFB_SCALE_GROUP_PAR, the users at location X enter parameter value Group 1 and the users at location Y enter Group 2 in their user profiles.When the users enter a goods receipt, they can see on the Weigh tab page in the input help for scales that the system only proposes the scales that have been assigned to their respective group.
