Use
This Business Add-In ( BAdI) is used in the CAD Integration (CA-CAD) component. You can use this BAdI to implement your own logic for the CAD search services.
If you do not define an individual customer-specific logic the system calls the fallback class CL_CDESK_SRV_SEARCH. You can also use this class as an example for implementing your own logic for the CAD search services.
Requirements
Your CAD integration is using the CAD services for the CAD search (e.g. the RFC modules CDESK_SRV_GET_ATTRIBUTES and CDESK_SRV_EXECUTE_SEARCH).
Standard settings
For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).
Activities
For information about implementing BAdIs as part of the enhancement framework, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver Platform on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com/nw_platform. Choose a release and then Application Help. In SAP Library, choose SAP NetWeaver Library: Function-Oriented View --> Application Server --> Application Server ABAP --> Application Development on AS ABAP --> ABAP Customer Development --> Enhancement Framework.
Example
The standard behaviour is calling the fallback class CL_CDESK_SRV_SEARCH. This class can also be used as an example for your own implementation.
