Use
This Business Add-In ( BAdI) is used in the CAD Integration (CA-CAD) component.
If your CAD integration uses CAD services the system only considers document attributes that are stored in database table DRAW. Document structures are expanded according to predefined rules for using versions and exploding documents. You can use this BAdI to take additional document attributes into account, to implement your own logic for determining the document version or to change the explosion behaviour when using the CAD services for documents.
Requirements
Your CAD integration is using the CAD services for document info records (e.g. RFC modules CDESK_SRV_CREATE_DIR, CDESK_SRV_GET_DIR, CDESK_SRV_MODIFY_DIR or CDESK_SRV_GET_STRUCTURE).
Standard settings

Activities

With the following two Business Add-In (BAdI) methods you can get or set additional document attributes that are not stored in database table DRAW:
With BAdI method CHANGE_DOCUMENT_VERSION you can implement your own logic for determining the document version that is used during document structure explosion.
With BAdI method CHECK_EXPLODE you specify whether a document info record shall be further exploded.
