Use
In this activity, you develop rules that you use for special approval. You use the feature CATEX (Rules for Special Approval in Time Sheet (CATS)) for this purpose. This feature enables the working times to be approved based on their attributes.
Note
The feature is not intended to be used to select the data records to be approved based on the employees that entered the data. To select based on employees or organizational assignments, use the selection screens of the approval program RCATS*01 or RCATS_APPROVE_ACTIVITIES (Approve Working Times), the Web application Approve Working Times , or the workflow.
Requirements
You know how to maintain features. For more information, refer to the SAP Library under Human Resources -> HR Tools -> Features Editor.
Standard settings
Activities
Access feature CATEX and configure the decision tree.
The first field for the decision tree must be RULE_ID (Rule for Special Approval), otherwise the system cannot process your entries. The system checks RULE-ID based on your entries in the activity SIMG.CATS0211 Define Rules for Special Approval.
