Use

Irrespective of the user interface used, data entry profiles enable you to configure data entry in the Cross-Application Time Sheet in regard to the following:

  • General settings for recording, for example:
    • Using target hours
    • Using clock times
    • Approval required
    • Release settings
      • Note: This list contains some important examples of general settings. The list is not complete.
  • Time settings, for example, for daily or weekly recording
  • Person selection, for example, recording using time administrators
  • Settings for Logistics
  • Settings for default values
  • Settings for the worklist
  • Data entry checks
  • Settings for approving working times using workflow

You can set up more than one data entry profile for different user groups. You can also use authorizations to protect each data entry profile from unauthorized access.
