Use
You use these settings to define the allocation of user statuses to corresponding status objects in BI content. This means that information on the user statuses can be evaluated easily in the BI Queries.
The settings for the status allocation are used by the transformations when the status data is updated in the data targets.
Requirements
The BI content for the status evaluations for network management must be active. You need to know the user status that you want to update, the status profiles, and the logical system names of your source systems.
Standard settings
Before the provided BI content can be used for status evaluation in Network Management, you have to make certain Customizing settings. You can find the necessary settings for the basic configuration in the example below, whereby you replace the values with your own values for the status, status profile, and logical system names.
Note that you can define different status profiles and that different object statuses have the same technical names if they are used in different status profiles.
Activities
Navigate to the maintenance transaction for allocating the user status.
For your user status, enter the technical key, the status profile, the logical system name, and the InfoObject to which you want to allocate the status.
Example
In the example, the user statuses E0001 and E0002 are allocated, whereby status E0001 has different meanings in the status profiles used. The statuses are used in status profiles IST-0001 and IST0002 in the logical system LOGSYSNAME.
A status is allocated to each InfoObject:
- 0TE_USRACC User status: Accepted
- 0TE_USRREJ User status: Rejected
- 0TE_USRNIS User status: Not used
The InfoObjects are used in the following data targets:
- Maintenance order: Status (0TE_C04)
- Equipment: Status (0TE_DS09)
For a correct update of the user statuses in the data targets, in the example you would have to make the following entries in Customizing:
Stat. | St.Profile | Log. Syst. | InfoObject
E0001 | IST-0001 | LOGSYSNAME | 0TE_USRACC
E0002 | IST-0001 | LOGSYSNAME | 0TE_USRREJ
E0001 | IST-0002 | LOGSYSNAME | 0TE_USRNIS
