Use
The Business Add-In ELM_MAPPING allows you to implement your own mapping functions.
The interface offers various different methods that are called up for processing an address list.
If the structures of the master data objects (0ELM_GUID_H or 0ELM_GUID_I) have been changed or enhanced, then the ELMT_<partial object>_CUSTOMER structures must be enhanced and mapping methods implemented so that the data is available in all functions.
The SAP Standard for External List Management uses the default implementation of these methods for mapping.
The BAdI offers the following methods:
Mapping of header fields before Create/Change
Mapping of header fields after reading
Mapping of header fields before reading
Mapping of text fields before Create/Change
Mapping of text fields after reading
Mapping of item fields before Create/Change
Mapping of item fields before reading
Mapping of item fields before Create/Change
Mapping of item fields after checks
