Use
A client (such as Web browser) can only call active services. If you call an inactive service, a message appears indicating that access to this page is locked. All subnodes of an inactive service can also not be reached. A service in the HTTP Service Tree of the Internet Communication Framework (ICF) can be active (black font) or inactive (gray font). Before you can use services you must ensure that thay have been activated by means of the ICF. If you wish to prevent access to a service, you can deactivate it without having to delete it.

Activities
Ensure that in the filter for calling the ICF hierarchy section, hierarchy type SERVICE is selected.
Choose Program -> Execute.
Expand the Default Host subtree and check whether the required service is active.
To activate or deactivate a service, select the service and choose Service/Virt.Host -> Activate or Deactivate (or using the right mouse button: Activate/Deactivate Service).
If you wish to reactivate an inactive service you can either activate only the selected service node (choose yes) or the selected service node including all its service subnodes maintained in the SICF (choose yes with tree icon).
