1. Check whether the Enterprise Service you wish to use is connected to a business function.
2. Check which other functions you could be activating with this business function.
3. Check whether the business function is already active (see IMG activity Activate Business Function).
4. Decide whether you want to activate the business function.
5. Activate the required business function.
