Use
In this IMG activity, you define and activate the field control framework that the system uses at business object (BO) level.
Requirements
Standard settings
The BO node communication structure contains values for which the property of node entities is set. It is used in the determination logic of the BO to check whether business data matches with structure values.
Activities
You must enter the names of BO nodes participating in field control in the system table /SCMTMS/I_FCNODE using the data browser (SE16). Optionally, the name of the communication structure can be entered into this table as well.
In order to achieve this, you must carry out the following activities:
- Use transaction SE16.
- In the Table Name field, enter /BOFU/I_FCNODE.
- Click Create Entities in the toolbar. The Field Control: Communication Structure table appears.
- Click New Entries in the toolbar to create a new entry for the BO.
- Enter appropriate values for the BO name, node, and BO node communication structure (BO Nde Cont. Struct. field).
