Use
You use this Customizing activity to maintain Business Entities.
Business Entities are used for unique identification of a combination of a Business Object and a node, which may be the root node or any subordinate node of the Business Object. The Business Entity can be used as a reference during Business Object processing to map the Business Object and Node information to some information requirement in the business process.

To define a new Business Entity, proceed as follows:
- Enter a unique ID of your choice for the Business Entity.
- Select the relevant Business Object, as defined in your system.
- Select the relevant node, as defined for the given Business Object.
- Optionally, you can enter a description of the Business Entity, describing its intended use, for example..
