Use

In this IMG activity you determine the source wage type in tables IT_PERSON and RT_PERSON from which the function XDIST (Distribute person-related wage types for concurrent employment) distributes an amount. You also determine which amount is distributed to target wage types in tables IT and RT on the personnel assignment level.

You also define how the system should process cost accounting splits (C1-Splits) and WPBP splits of the wage types that you use in the distribution basis:

  • If you set the indicator C1 split, the system transfers C1 splits of a wage type from the distribution basis to the target wage types.
  • If you set the indicator WPBP split, the system transfers WPBP splits of a wage type from the distribution basis to the target wage types.

Irrespective of this, the system always transfers WPBP splits, V0 splits, and country-specific wage type splits of a source wage type to the target wage types. BT splits, absence splits (AB splits), and ALP splits are not transferred from the source wage types to the target wage types.

For more information on wage type splits, access the SAP Library for Payroll and choose Gross Part of Payroll -> Wage Types -> Wage Type Splits.

You can enter all wage types stored in tables IT_PERSON and RT_PERSON as source wage types. The target wage types are usually customer-specific wage types.

If you have assigned a distribution rule to a source wage type, the source wage type amount is always distributed completely to the target wage types of this person's personnel assignments, irrespective of the distribution method and distribution basis. If the distribution rule determines that the source wage type amount cannot actually be distributed to the target wage types, the system chooses one of the personnel assignments and allocates the total amount to this one.
