Use

In this work step, you assign the SRM condition types to the ERP condition types.

This assignment is used when replicating the SRM central contract in the ERP system, and when creating purchase orders with reference to a central contract.

Requirements

When replicating contracts, the following cases may occur:

  • The condition type used exists in SAP ERP with a different name
    Assign the ERP condition type to the corresponding SRM condition type.
  • The condition type uses exists in SAP ERP and is not identical
    1. Create the condition type with a different name in Customizing for Purchasing under Define Condition Types.
    2. Assign the new ERP condition type you created to the corresponding SRM condition type.
  • The condition type used does not exist in SAP ERP
    Create the condition type that is the same as the condition type in SAP SRM, in Customizing for Purchasing under Define Condition Types.
  • The condition type used exists in SAP ERP and is identical
    You need not define any settings in Customizing.
