Use

You can use this BAdI to implement your own logic to convert technical object data during the takeover process.

Requirements

If you are using the Aerospace & Defense manufacturer part number (MPN) in the DIMP system and want to convert an MPN into a material number, you must switch on the business function IS_AD_MPN. We deliver a default implementation BADI_PHIN_IMPLEMENTATION_DIMP in the DIMP system that checks if business function IS_AD_MPN is switched on or not and carries out the conversion accordingly. However, you can replace the default implementation with your own logic.

Standard settings

  • There is no active BAdI implementation in the standard system for other two methods.
  • The BAdI is not filter-dependent.
  • The BAdi is not designed for multiple use.
  • There is no default code executed when the BAdI does not have an active customer implementation.
