Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Sales and Distribution (SD) component. You can use this BAdI to change the way searches are performed by the LORD_MY_QUOTATION_SRV OData service for the My Quotations app.
This BAdI provides method Search Materials <SEARCH_MATERIALS> that you can use to modify how searches for materials are performed. For example, you could use this BAdI to integrate Enterprise Search using the MATERIAL (standard material search template) or MATERIAL_H (SAP HANA material search template) templates to enable the following:
- Perform fuzzy searches
- Performance benefits
- Easily enable or disable material fields for keyword search
